Summary:
The Forsyth Storytelling Guild and the Forsyth County Public Library are co-sponsoring their first storytelling festival Friday.
Laura Weigand, the library's head of children's services, said:
"It is a natural fit for the library because of our support of reading and literature. We very much want to promote in all people the sense that they have their own stories."
The festival on Friday will have two featured storytellers - Andrew Leslie and David Stoeri (pronounced, appropriately enough, story).
"Audiences can go into a trance-like state," Stoeri said. "In this day and age, it's a unique experience."
