Summary:
Joe Klementowski visited his younger sister during his lunch break Sept. 8, 1999. That was the last time Jean Karutis saw her brother.
He was killed a few hours later when a drunken driver crashed head-on into his car.
For the past four years, Karutis has been sharing her brother's story with the hopes of sparing other families the pain of losing a loved one to drunken driving.
Karutis said giving the speeches has helped her mourn her brother's death.
"At first I was really angry. I told myself I could let my anger eat at me or try to prevent another death. I chose to do that."
