Intrigue, thrills and romance will all be a part of Weber State University's celebration of one of humanity's grandest traditions: storytelling.
WSU will host the ninth annual
Storytelling Festival Nov. 8-10 at three locations - Eccles Conference Center and Peery's Egyptian Theater in downtown Ogden, and WSU's campus.
Thirty regional storytellers and 80 students from Weber, Davis and Morgan counties will add a local flare to the nationally recognized festival. Among the headliners are two-time spoken word Grammy nominee Bill Harley, Latina performer Olga Loya (who tells stories in English and Spanish), award-winning author Rafe Martin and renowned storyteller Connie Regan-Blake.
