Prayer Breakfast Offers Food for the Soul

Green Bay Press Gazette (Green Bay, WI) , February 4, 2005

The 10th annual Ecumenical Prayer Breakfast on Thursday was as much a celebration of art as it was of faith. About 250 people gathered as Wisconsin’s former Poet Laureate Ellen Kort spoke about the importance of our life stories.

“Stories are so vitally important. In all that we do, the bottom line is our stories,” she said. “We heard the stories of those who went through the tsunamis. That’s how we connected with them.”
