ABSTRACT
The Spurlock Museum celebrates both the uniqueness of and similarities among the world’s cultures. In 2000, the Museum’s Education Section added storytelling to its educational offerings, connecting folktales to objects on exhibit. The staff found that this pairing is an effective way to increase both the Museum’s offerings to the public and the range of visitors attending programs.
